Offimo only pauses the apps you add. Which ones should go on the list?
Start with the reflex apps
The best candidates are the apps you open without deciding to. Usually social and video: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Facebook, Reddit. If you often find one already open and cannot remember tapping it, add it.
Offimo works with the apps iOS lets you manage through the Screen Time permission, which covers virtually every social, video, gaming and browsing app.
Keep the list short at first
A pause on every app quickly turns into noise, and noise gets uninstalled. Three to five apps is a good start. Once the pause feels normal on those, add more if you want.
Leave the useful apps alone
Maps, banking, messages with real people, your calendar. A pause there is friction without a benefit. Offimo is for the apps where a quick look tends to become half an hour.
How to change the list
Open Offimo and edit your protected apps. Adding or removing an app takes effect the next time you tap it. You do not need to redo the setup or grant the permission again.
What about websites?
If you have removed an app but keep going in through Safari, add the website too. Blocking websites and apps explains how the two work together.
