Offimo - Mindful pause app for screen time control

How streaks count, and what happens after a bad day

What a streak measures in Offimo, why it is not a score to protect, and what changes when you have a day you are not proud of.

Offimo keeps a streak and Jeff grows with it. Here is how to read it.

What a streak measures

A streak is a run of consecutive days keeping the habit going. Every conscious pause counts as progress, and days add up into the milestones you see in Jeff's Journey: the first pause, three days, one week, two weeks, one month.

It is positive reinforcement, not a guilt counter. The number is there so the small choices become visible.

A bad day

You will have one. You will sit through the pause, go in anyway, and lose an hour. That day does not erase what happened on the days before it.

Jeff is not there to judge a bad day or ask for perfection. Offimo does not send you a disappointed notification, and there is no penalty beyond what the streak itself shows. The next tap is the next chance to choose differently.

What actually matters

The streak is a way of noticing a pattern, not the pattern itself. If it breaks and you keep pausing the next day, you are doing the thing the streak was meant to encourage. Do not protect the number at the cost of the habit.

What Jeff's stages mean explains what each milestone looks like.
